The feature-packed Gastroback Design BBQ Advanced Smart automatically adjusts the grilling time to the thickness of meat being cooked for perfect results every time (the upper grill plate is height adjustable to accommodate different thicknesses of meat). There are 6 grill programs with preset temperatures for steak, poultry, burgers, sausages, sandwiches, fish and a manual mode. The steak program has 4 cooking levels for rare, medium rare, medium and well done.
The Design BBQ Advanced Smart can be used in grill contact mode providing heat above and below food and a grill area of approximately 745cm² or opened flat in barbecue mode to provide a grill area of approximately 1490cm².
With 2000 watts of power, heating is quick and efficient and can be controlled in 10 levels between 150°C to 240°C in grill contact mode and 7 levels between 150°C and 210°C in barbecue mode (in barbecue mode the temperature of each grill plate can be set independently).
The two grill plates - one ribbed for creating characteristic grill lines, and one flat for pancakes, omelettes, fried eggs, crepes and potato cakes - can be interchanged. Each has a non-stick coating, so little to no fat is required for healthier grilling. Both grill plates are removable for cleaning and are dishwasher safe, as is the integrated grease drip tray.
